Enhanced Optical Combat Helmet Version 1

This helmet produced by Black Box Technologies is made from an updated version of our patented formula of Duralloy, SOV-7133, which is layered along with an anti-laser mesh linked to heat sinks at the rear of the helmet, magnetic shielding, and a spall lining on the interior. The transparisteel view port is shaped to optimize visibility while its convex profile lends strength. The cheeks of the helmet are beveled toward the face, providing a minimum of interference to the user's stock weld on both the left and right sides. The optics boom provides a suite of improved features for the on-board targeting system, including independent telescopic targeting and infra-red lighting, focusable from a laser to a floodlight setting. Basic sensors include magnetic and organic life signature detection, infra-red and low light filters. All optics are united by the targeting system, allowing the user to paint friendly and enemy contacts, automatically share locations to friendly forces through encrypted short wave communications. It also links with the user's weapons(See att. 2.2), continually painting the actual aiming point for the active weapons whether or not the user is looking along the sights. The integrated life support system is not rated for EVA without tether and external pack, sold separately, but includes a self purging filter capable of scrubbing chemical and biological agents from the atmosphere (See att. 3.15). Communications consist of the externally mounted Comtech Series XVII commlink system with a 32-4red connection. (Check your local system for availability). This redesign of the legendary heavy duty comms suite provides a dependable connection for all information transfers with guaranteed clear audio and video display.(See att 4.0) The use of materials and design elements balances protection against weight and maneuverability which, along with the best in sensors and communications provides a superb option for the war fighters of the galaxy.

Please note that while the helmet is mod/copy/no-trans, the scripting and HUD are not modifiable.
