The avatar itself is great, but it does tend to slide a bit and the movement is a bit mechanical. Otherwise, it's a beautiful avatar and well worth the $20 to $25.
Neat!
I like this dragon a lot! The mesh is very smooth and I agree that its overall appearance is aesthetically pleasing. The ad pictures do not do it justice because I was hesitant to buy this big boi until I saw someone else using it in world. Luckily, the Youtube video I failed to notice until like... just now also help show off what this avatar offers. So many colours right out of the box, and the UVs are simple and super easy to work with so it's pretty easy to get close to the exact look you're going for. I love that the wings and face can be slightly resized with sliders, too. Had to deduct a star though because of the animations, sadly. I'm very appreciative that it comes with so many of them- even swimming animations are included, surprisingly, and while I do love the expressions, too, as other reviews before me said, the rest of the animations are very mechanical and unnatural looking and it really takes away from the overall atmosphere of the avatar. Regardless, the av is pretty solid, and has a devkit available right off the bat, and is very generous with its features. I'm really excited to see what comes next for this avatar.
Gorgeous overall
I love the detail in the mesh, and the overall style is very refreshing to see. Out of all the dragon avatars available, including pre-bento builds, I think the head on this dragon is by far the most aesthetically pleasing. The texture options are great and I love how easy it is to modify this dragon. The only thing I'm not entirely happy with is the AO and animations. I think they look better than the DK for sure, but they still seem a bit robotic and stiff. The AO itself can be twitchy and is made using an outdated system, but fortunately Snode has released a fix for the wing twitch that is easy to install. That being said, it has great potential and I think over time it will become even greater with each update, and I can't stress enough how happy I am that the devkit was easy to obtain. If you collect dragon avatars like I do, add this one to your inventory! Thank you so much for that Tithis, I will forever be grateful for it!
congrats
this is the best dragon av on the market right now, bar none. super customizable, breathes fire, colors don't cost extra, responsive AO and interface. sure some of the the animations and sounds are meh, but who cares? with a robust dev kit, someone's gonna make better ones. this is the dragon av platform we've been waiting for.
Love the Detail
The attention to detail and the whole package is great, and that it comes with a mod kit makes it even better.
Love it!
Loving it so far! I'm only having a few minor issues, but that's expected with a brand new avatar. It seems like the attack AO isn't configured with the stand/sit animations, so you'll have to wear both AOs to use the attacks, but that's my only complaint. Everything else is absolutely wonderful! It's refreshing to see a well done feral dragon, that isn't massive, and isn't tiny, either!
