This is fairly basic, but easier then doing it yourself. What is it? It's a full body tattoo, that can be modified to change the color of the skin you are wearing. Simply add the tattoo, then edit, and modify the color. The skin you wear under will show through, allowing you to color a favorite detailed skin into something darker, or lighter, on even tint to an actual color. Great way to make skins for orc, drow, elves, demons, dragons, mer, aliens and other beings that might not have a normal skin tone.
Also great to adapting child avatar skins to a different skin tone for making the perfect ethnicity.
Suitable for male and female avatars.
Notecard with details on how to modify the tattoos included.
**Works best with pale tones darkening, than dark tones lightening. There is no shading or coloring in the tattoo, so -everything- is colored equally, including lips and eye make up. Consider adding make up tattoos after the skin tint to allow them to show better.**
UPDATED! Now including preset colors to assist in playing with colors and finding the perfect look. All tattoos are copy/mod/no trans so you can set one for each av that you need.

UPDATE - July 16th, 2016 - I've included Omega Tint appliers. If you have a body that uses omega AND allows tinting (note, at this time, Maitreya does not) then you can use these appliers to tint your skins at this level. All photos shown are system. Yes, there is detail loss. It's a tattoo. Not a skin.
Oct 2019 - Got a mesh that does Baked on Mesh? This is in system layers, and thus can be used!

Scam
All this person did was make a new tattoo layer and ad the stock default white transparent texture found in everyones inventory to all parts of the tattoo. Something you can do yourself for free in two seconds. I bought this figuring it was easier and 1L cheaper then making an almost completely transparent white texture and uploading it into SL myself. The default white transparent texture given to you by LL in your inventory is not transparent enough and washes out all detail to your skin when you try this. Subsequently this product does that too by proxy. Save yourself the 9L and figure something else out.

Just Great!
Let me start off by saying I absolutely loathe tinting items to match skin tones, such as elf ears or other add-on parts. What looks good in one lighting may look completely different in another. However, using this eliminates a lot of that trouble (although for best results you may want a pale or white colored skin, and you need to select a lighter/faded tint color on your items as opposed to the tint you use on this layer). What I spent hours attempting to tint perfectly to match and never getting it just right in any lighting only took about a minute with this.

I've been needing to have something like this! I have many skins that I would like to tint at least and it sucks when many skins aren't tintable, especially modifying furry avatars to match head textures and such. This tattoo helps a whole lot! Thanks so much for making this!
