Realistically dilating mesh eyes!
Check out a quick demonstration video: http://youtu.be/JVp21KiM5Zo
Hello and thank you for checking out the FATE Oculi system, the next step in avatar eye customisation. Featuring a realistic shape, materials and iris dilation options for a truly unique look.
This is a spiritual successor to the FATEeyes. I wanted to greatly simplify the experience while still offering a huge range of customisations.
The main new feature with FATE Oculi is the iris behavior, if you zoom your camera in (freezing animations may help) you will see how the pupil now changes size in a more realistic manner with the fibers of the iris contracting and dilating as they do in real life.
These eyes can be resized and repositioned through the intuitive HUD to work with any avatars, even petites!
Other compatible eye bases and applier HUDs available now on the marketplace

Please note that due to SL's rendering engine, these eyes may not work well with some mesh heads. Always try a demo first!

Fantastic Eyes!

Even straight out of the box they look great!
The first thing I notice with avatars is usually the eyes, and many eyes on SL look flat, lifeless or just plain out of place.
But not so with these eyes. They feel alive, like there's a presence behind them like with real eyes. They aren't just flat, they have depth and vibrance to them, and even up close and personal the textures look fantastic.
Truly nothing more I could have wished for in a set of eyes.
Excellent eyes but with one troublesome limitation
Just like the previous eyes Damien made, these are hands down the best in SL.
However, there is one limitation that prevents me from using them: you can't adjust the *position* enough for use with some Catwa heads. That's it. The position slider on the HUD doesn't let you move them far enough to work properly.
Gorgeous
Great customization for human-like pupils with an incredibly rare (for the eye market) option for colorable sclera.
Arrears of work
The only thing that deserves attention here is the animation of the pupils. The rest looks like raw material that needs to be refined and refined. Also, the instructions for creating your own textures are probably written for yourself by the manufacturer, since I am well versed in Photoshop and graphics, and then many things remained riddles for me here, what to say about untrained users.
Everything you wanted from FATEeyes in 2020!
I went looking for an update for my FATEeyes because I hadn't used them in many years... When I saw these, I decided to give them a shot. I can't say how much I love them! I have them in a GENUS head that was suffering from "crazy eye syndrome" and these have not only fixed the issue, but they are beautiful and realistic.
Beautiful and versatile
I was a little sceptical initially, as I did not see a great need for the pupil dilation feature. However, it does add a bit of realism. But what sold me on the eyes was how beautiful they are and how very well the tinting works on the provided iris textures together with the excellent positioning control which is a must to work with as many mesh heads as possible.
The main drawback for me is the lack of Bakes on Mesh support, but given that it does not use standard eye textures (in order to be able to achieve the dilation effect) that just isn't possible. And besides, with the textures included and the tinting on top of that, they provide a pretty good range of eye options anyway.
