FATEwear Trunks - Thorpe - Void
In this pack you will find two additional versions of the trunks labelled 'sheen' and 'wet' (pictured above)... These were created with an upcoming version of Second Life in mind that has not yet been released (as of May 2013).
The new Second Life feature is called the materials shader, this will allow the use of bump (normal maps) and shine (specular maps) on objects + attachments in SL.
The normal and specular maps add a lot of depth and life to objects that you can see for yourself in this example video I put together: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjD5cHZ5cGA&feature=youtu.be please read the description on the video for more technical information on what you're seeing.
In short, the materials-ready 'sheen' and 'wet' versions of the trunks will look more realistic and give the impression of higher polygonal detail.

Woman's Shorts
I had high hopes for these shorts. Unfortunately, I can't give this line a good review. There is a huge difference in the hip width from medium to large sizes. The medium size cuts into the waist from the front incredibly bad. The large size is nicer in the front but there's a dramatic increase in hip width. It's almost as if these shorts were intended for women because the wider hips in the anatomy of a woman compared to a man as well as the thinner profile of a woman's waist front compared to a man. Great idea....just missed on the design. Would love to see this fixed in the design...I would consider the loss and buy another pair if it was fixed.
