FLUFFY DEMON TAIL Version 2

I really like this tail, there's nothing quite like it once you hide the spade (this is like the only slightly fuzzy lizard-shaped tail that exists), but the base of the tail is strangely rigged :( it's animated all the way to the base if that makes sense, meaning the base of the tail moves where it meets the body rather than being anchored down. I know this is an older product, but this tail really fills a niche and it would be so cool it it were updated or revamped with cleaner rigging.

The fact I can hide the spade makes this tail very versatile! I do wish you could unlink the fur, but being able to hide them via manual selection is nice.

I DO want more tail accessories! The creator has made tail socks for everything else, I hope they make some for this one!

The fur texture and tail overall looks great, which is why I'm still giving it 3 stars - however, as other reviews have mentioned.. the base of this tail is comically huge even when using the "small" size. I initially though it was because the avatar I was using it on was very small, but I switched to a larger avatar and it still looked off. Lastly, the tail is not anchored well to the body. It slides along the body as it moves, regardless of what animator you use - I tested it with three different animators, all yielding the same result. It doesn't look like a cohesive part of the body because it moves so independently of the spine where it should attach.

I love this tail so much, its almost perfect for me, and I guess the only things I have to 'complain' about are, I wish the base was less "thick as a 2 liter bottle of coke" and more like... idk... maybe like a 20 oz. bottle? Cuz BOY SHE THICC ^-^;; But that's not really a like, BAD bad thing, just doesn't fully fit with my avatars bum.

And the other thing is less of a complaint and more of a request... is there any way I can convince the creator to add a fluffy/tufted tail tip option? Like I KNOW its a demon tail but the spade is not my thing for demons, like I will pay you! But I also know thats a lot to ask so I'm only like 60% serious. Mostly I just wanted to show love, its a great tail. And I love the strappies! Most tails dont have accessorieeeeees! ok thats enough rambling out of me, tail is great, cute af, love the fluff and straps => okthanksbyeeee

An amazing tail to go with any avatar, it comes with its own animator which works beautifully.

I don't want my review to come off as overly negative -- this is a very cute tail, cheap, with an included PSD and a lot of animations. I have some problems with it though that are preventing it from becoming my new go-to tail.

First of all, unfortunately I ended up having to re-script it because for some reason using the included animator broke my [FH] rabbit ears every time. I can't blame this on the tail though, as I have no idea which script wasn't playing nice :)

Trying to re-texture it is where I ran into problems... the UVs included in the PSD aren't quite correct (a lot of the texture around them bleeds through) which was a bit more annoying than it had to be. My #1 issue with this tail, though, is how the faces are divided up. Each side of the tail (left/right, bisected down the middle) is a face, meeting at the top and bottom middle to produce a seam. Seams at the top of tails are kind of a pain with dense patterns, but at least this means you can do an asymmetrical pattern, right? No, sadly while the tail is bisected into two material faces, the fluffs are not -- they're all one face.

If you want a tail that fades from color A to color B, go for it. If you want anything more complex, you're in for some pain unless this changes.
