This small house is a traditional Japanese design used in the regions of Japan where snowfall was very heavy. The steep roof served to shed the snow from the roof. The style of the house "Gassho Zukuri" translated means "Praying Hands" and refers to the roof style. Please enjoy your praying hands house!

Lovely!
This is a great little house, with lots of amazing detail and a great, smooth color. I really liked the little loft with the climbable ladder, and the window and lantern have me hooked! It is also very small, perfect for those that don't need a lot of room, or who want a small patch of detail on their land. Thanks very much for this great gift!
