FREE MULTI-STORY SHOWROOM -- This 14 prim build is made entirely from prims, no sculpties, no mesh, strictly old-school and easy to walk through!
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
1. REZZ THE BUILD. Nothing is linked at this point! Most of the build is too large to link!!!
2. Latch onto the slanted ramp, PLUS the upstairs floor (three parts to allow the avatar to walk through to the upstairs floor, see?) -- merely dupe and pull up to the next level.
3. Repeat this as many times as you like, for as many floors as you want to make (you can always add more later on as you need to for your wondrous builds).
4. Next obvious step is to dupe the BOTTOM floor and lift it to make the roof. There are a variety of ways to make it easy to see where the roof is, relative to the walls.
5. Merely stretch the outer walls to bring them up to the roof. You may have to add one part to fill the front area. Merely dupe a lower section, raise it and size it to fit to the roof.
6. Roof should be slightly lower than the top of the outer walls, to create a tar roof effect. Other roof treatments and solutions will of course cost more prims.
=====================================
At an average of 10-14 prims per floor, this build won't eat up much of your prim allowance, yet it provides a very adequate space to showroom any of your fabulous builds -- cars, planes and even yachts will fit into this build with a max length of about 55-60 meters.
You can provide yourself with single-prim SALES BOXES. If you don't know how to do this, don't fret, attend the building course classes and KNOW how to do ANYTHING you want to do!!!
If you create jewelry, you might not want to make this into a five-story beast, but then again, you might -- with this simple build, it's easy to do, even for a novice builder!
Come to the class and get help! This is absolutely a stone-out SIMPLE beginning building for your showroom needs.
It doesn't get simpler, and the ease of walk-through makes this an ideal shopping and meeting space.
