I offer these free starter skyboxes which are 1 land impact apiece. You typically need at least 3 land impact to build a skybox out of prims. If not more.
Instructions are included in the shipping crate.
Make sure you have build permission before trying to rez one of these.
I suggest starting in one of the many sandboxes scattered around Second Life.

- One 32 x 32 meter skybox with 16 meter ceiling
- One 16 x 32 meter skybox with 16 meter ceiling
- Full permissions: copy-mod-transer
- Floors, walls, and ceilings can be individually textured
- 1 land impact each.
