Fantastic full perm boat construction, finely tuned speedboat script with v8 engine sounds, particle wake effects, horn, sim border detector, user menu controlled gear and engine configuration. Includes both finished working versions of the IQ v8 speedboat to help get your creative juices flowing.

The awesome IQ V8 Twin speedboat is now full perm so now you can build your own fully scripted low prim speedboats TO SELL, extremely stable allowing smooth sim crossing, well scripted driving action with optional sim border detection.You can just use parts or the whole thing to create your own wonderful designs.

The Kit
=========================
There should always be a virgin copy of the speedboat in your inventory as you will be rezzing copies. If you happen to delete this, Im Daisy Picnic an she will replace your origional.
The speedboat is a 29 prim design allowing 2 avatars to travel, (remember that the vehicle limit is 31 prims if you want it to work in second Life!)
Click the hull to configure the gears and engine, click the central area between seats to activate sim border detection, Click the engines to sound the horn,
The speedboat is linked when you rez it, just go to tools/edit linked parts or unlink to edit the boat.
Dont forget to make sure the root prim is the last prim you select before finally linking the boat together. see next paragraph.
Root Prim and placing the scripts:

In this speedboat the root prim is the large square hull sides, in edit you will see it contains a few scripts.
When linking an object together, the root prim is the last prim to be attached to a linkset!
In SL vehicles the root prim must contain the driving script and the sound script , the seating anims and any related scripts go in the respective seats. The wake effect scripts go in the exausts.
All scripts are placed in the correct position when you rez the kit speedboat. Feel free to edit the scripts to your liking.
Sim Border detection:
==================
A recent trend towards using a sim border detector to warn when those tricky borders are approaching has led us to include this in the kit.
The sim border detector is to be found in the central cone between the seats. it can be removed if you wish or moved to any other prim apart from the root prim.
Help with sim crossings
===================
Sim crossing can wierd your avatar out for a few seconds leading to loss of control or even a relog..This is a fault in SL and until the lindens prioritise this over making more cash we will all have to follow these rules of thumb!
SO.....
When driving all vehicles in SL,
reduce speed
try to cross away from the corners of a sim
try to cross without steering (in a straight line) wait for the boat scripts to reload before using any controls.

You are free to sell your finished boats copy/no mod/no transfer
You may NOT sell this as a kit as a reseller item or sell individual parts seperately.
You will ensure the scripts are no modify before sale also so people cannot rip them off!

Boat is ok sort of I got it looks ok would Not resell it or use it, Scripts it comes with are crap... Used other scripts it worked but still would not resell or use this

I LOVE this boat kit, the only thing is when you rezz the full perm untextured boat, you will need to go into edit>edit linked prims, and delete the no-copy horn sound and script from the steering column, then throw a 'The Scrubber' script in the steering column, then take the boat back into your inventory and it will clear up the 'no copy' issue, and it will be full-perm. other than that it's money well spend for sure!!! =~.^=

not ? Its full perm. This was an absolutely super buy !! It was easy to work with and the script is awesome !! and believe me I know vehicles !! this is the best !!

Not sure what the noob below is talking about, anyone with basic sl skills can create an awesome craft with this kit, the physics on this boat are beyond comparison with anything else you can get and you can mod and improve to suit your tastes. There are many well established boat makers selling on here that started their boats with this kit, thats where i found it, buy this and u wont be disappointed ! 5 stars miss picnic.

just dont cut it, a real disapointment, yes I followed directions, no im not an idiot, just plain not worth the money IMO.
