Tunnel system to die for
full star full star full star full star empty star Posted February 09, 2018 by Silvermoonglitter

I absolutely loved working with this system albeit that the dark urban styling can make it dificult and slow moving at times. I would have given the system 5 stars if it came with some rooms that could be used with it. Overall the detailing and connectivity is excellent though.

Suggestion for your sewer/tunnel kit [too dark for some]

This is an impressive looking build and hopefully it will fit in with what I'm aiming for in my region.
I'm somewhat disappointed with the "darkness" of the textures and these may well be off-putting for some people. [Someone has already made a comment about this on another Feedback]

I have a suggestion for you.
Why not adjust your original textures to a normal level - ie one that is light enough for people to use as a basic setting and then people can adjust the darkness level to suit their own needs by altering the textures in the Colour picker in Edit Mode inworld.

I'd love to give you a 5 Star rating but as "editing" the brightness/darkness cannot be achieved to a decent level then this is not possible.

The only "tweak" I found was to add "fullbright" and a small amount of "glow" to these so you can see where you are actually walking. All well and good having built in lights for atmosphere but I think the overall "darkness" will put people off buying this. As I said I've "adapted" mine with a glow/full bright setting to attempt to overcome this, I'm also adding a few "props" that may well help to improve the light levels in the sewers.
So it's 3 stars from me as I think this could be a big issue for people. If it does become possible for people to actually alter the "darkness" level themselves ie you put out an update version with lighter textures- as the texture is too dark in my opinion - then, as I've said it's a big drawback.

Very nice ... but
full star full star full star full star empty star Posted June 15, 2012 by NightTurist

This is indeed a very nice sewer with just the right atmosphere for such a place. Its also quite user-friendly to set up to say at least so what could be wrong? Not much really.

However I do wish that the dear Flea would add a mirrored angle piece (for up or down) in a future update. A piece of sewer pipe from this kit got one type of pipes in one side and another type of wires in the other. So if you make a "hill" that goes up you can't flip the angled piece and go down because then the pipes and wires won't match up. So until then, the one angled piece remains in my inventory, making the experience of walking through the sewers a little flat - pun intended lol

Be mindful though that this kit eats a lot of prims. And I do meen a lot (provided you want a maze with more than one turn of course - even after you link the pieces together. And that is with the low-prim versions. I got 2K prims on my parcel and I'm pretty sure the parcel would have exploded, had I used the high prim versions ^^ So don't buy this if you only got a few hundred prims to toy with. That is the nature of mesh and by no meens Fleas fault.

I will wait with adding the last star to my review until I've seen what a future update will include.
