Fairey Gannet
The Fairey Gannet was a British carrier-borne aircraft of the post-Second World War era developed for the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm (FAA) by the Fairey Aviation Company. It was a mid-wing monoplane with a tricycle undercarriage and a crew of three, and a double turboprop engine driving two contra-rotating propellers.
The Gannet was originally developed to meet the FAA's dual-role anti-submarine warfare and strike requirement. It was later adapted for operations as an electronic countermeasures and carrier onboard delivery aircraft. The Gannet AEW was a variant of the aircraft developed as a carrier-based airborne early warning platform.
This plane has been a long project for me personally. It is a single seater with dummy co pilot and radar officer. It has fully functioning folding wings and retracting gears.
This plane comes with a fully detailed manual inside the crate when unpacking.
Enjoy!

It's good to see the past in the present
Even a helicopter specialist tends to fancy a fixed wing now and then and CLS seems to have made another lovely one. I'm still doing flights now and then as time allows and so far it's been pleasant. First of all this is not a sports car so to speak but more between a tank and an SUV.The maneuvering is what gets your attention the most. A fighter plane she is not but that is totally understandable here this baby is a torpedo / bomber not a P-51 more along the class of the Kingfisher and Dauntless. Start up, wing fold is great and it feels and sounds like the real deal but make sure you get that take off speed. Bombing will take some practice not sure if a torpedo option will ever be made but so far it's been interesting. Even if you don't RP or do events with aircraft like this just having one in your collection is a good addition.
