100% Original mesh item

This package include fully baked mesh castle fortification that features grass and rock terrain in the courtyard, dungeon cave in the basement and multi-level floor plan that is connected with several staircases. Three texture change options for courtyard terrain with summer, winter and autumn textures.

WARNING: All items are copy / modify / non transferable. They can be resized and color tinted. Lightning effects you see are directly baked on textures. We do not provide so called “shadow maps” and we do not give away or sell our textures. All items are in mesh. Keep in mind that unlinking prims will increase land impact and might mess up the physics shape.

DOOR MANUAL: By default doors are set free access for everyone and manual close by touch. If you need to change door settings here is an instruction on how to do it.
- click, hold and slide your mouse over the door (mouse needs to touch at least 15% of the door prim)
- when menu pops up select if access is allowed to everyone, to owner, to a SL group (the one set to the door in Edit/General tab/ Group)
- Check the other menu options for opening movement, auto-close time etc.
- Click the button [FINISH] when terminated.
Optional - you can edit the note card inside door "-My door access list" and add the names after "AllowedAvats = "

I spent weeks searching for mesh castles for my sim. Hands down this is THE BEST CASTLE IN SL. Worth every linden. It's just amazing. The textures are beyond words beautiful. I love the texture change courtyard...I just can't say enough about this castle. All my friends are so impressed by it...and it just make my sim stunning. Ty for such an amazing castle ♥

This is a fabulous build and I agree with the previous comment; terrain texture options would be nice and I foresee this coming in the future as a texture add-on pack perhaps.

My only personal complaint and general pet-peeve in SL are the door's open/close sound effect: This generic sound effect is found on 90% of the doors in SL and has been around for as long as I have been in SL (9 years)! It is a shame that such a beautiful and unique build is accompanied by a lack of originality in sound design. But hey that's just me, I will simply remove and replace the doors to my liking.

This is a great buy from a great designer for anyone in the market for a castle and well worth every $L!

So drop by their sim and check it out. I was sold on it the moment I passed through the portcullis :)

Excellent modelling and texturing make for a very realistic-looking castle. It is definitely on the darker, grimier side, not at all a fairy-tale castle, and it has an amazing number of rooms on different levels, including some dark and dank dungeon-like areas (and a trap-door in the floor which would be perfect for installing caves or dungeons beneath the castle itself).

I would have liked to see some options included for seasonal variations given that there's some built-in ground -- at the very least a choice between grass or snow would have been nice -- and baked in lighting does have a small negative impact on photography. But these were limitations that I was aware of before purchasing so they do not impact my rating of the build -- they're simply things that would have made it even better from my point of view.

If you need a ready-made castle, as opposed to one where you piece things together yourself, this has to be the best option I've seen so far in Second Life.
