A bit buggy, bit frustrating.
My original review was a 1-star due to the frustration of getting it to work. The hud hid itself on me at one point and didn't come back. The animations are sluggish and twitchy fairly often. The price-tag for the update is high for a large chunk of frustration; But if you can push through that it does look good when you finally manage to get it where you want. Hopefully it'll get on track sooner rather than later given the 20$ price tag.
Beautiful AVI but still LOT of work to be done/fix.
I bought the original for 5k and bough this for 3.7k , spent total of 8.7k @_@. Update should be free at the first place seriously. Anywayz, I can only give a 3 stars as in today Nov 24, 2018. The avi is beautiful but, there are a lot of problems.
1. Texture hub get stuck sometimes, there are body parts has no texture on them but that can be relog and that will fix it....sometimes.
2. Animations are buggy still, flying animations is a mass, when you fly no animation will play but if you press page up to fly, it will work. When you land normally you will stuck at flying animation until you press page down hard. Most of the time that won't even fix it but if you sit down, it will fix the animation.
3. The HUD is simple, ugly and very slow.
man..I wish it is going to be as good as original with all the animations and stuffs..and fire breathing.
As for now, 3 stars. Original was 5 Stars tho!!!
THIS IS NOT BENTO ITS A LIE
So THIS dragon has less going on than an average non-bento avatar.
Let me know if you find a single slider that works on it. Claiming something is 'bento' and not providing any options in any way to use the tools of bento to modify appearance is just a flat out lie. You cant adjust anything.
Face and head...nope...
Legs and wings...nope...
Neck and width...nope...
So not only does this person claim that we will get updated version s of the avatar for free, he erases the text and makes an update he charged 800 Linden less than the full avatar for. Which leaves it costing around 20$ usd in linden value ....for an update.
This is literally the exact same thing minus a slightly (And I mean only slightly) lighter rendering cost than the original with updated animations.
The HUD sucks...badly. I cant find a single place to alter eye color or jaw position. All they have no is basically a AO hud with some face palming animations for expressions in it. Sadly, this "update" isnt worth the cost by far, seeing as the original is literally the same thing, just with better and more options.
Do not buy. Best avi modder out there says so.
Problem Redeeming
I bought the original on December 14, 2014 just for clarification, but for some reason, neither rezzing or wearing the ticket does anything, I even put on all the versions of the dragon that I have from 1.0 to 1.3 and still nothing. I'd really like some help to figure this out!
Good but not finished.
Though im aware martin is working on updating and fixing the avatar and its quirks. I cannot recommend buying the remaster until he has finished with the product as a whole. I'll change the review once its in a more stable state.
Horrible.
It gets stuck in animations. 50% of the time is completely unresponsive to movement. Very frustrating.
