<<< ARTIST'S GENERAL COMMENTS ON HIS PHOTO ART CREATIONS >>>
This is one of several Fine Art photo-manipulation works that I have created for you to enjoy. Almost all of these works are based on SL photography I have taken at the many amazing publicly accessible and viewable sims within SecondLife.
These photo manipulations are a tribute to the amazing content creators, builder, and landscapers within SecondLife. Without their creative talents, photo art like this would not be possible. So thanks to all my fellow SL Content Creators!
<<< ARTISTS COMMENTS & CREDITS for PARIS GREETS ARMAGEDDON >>>
I happened upon a gorgeous "Paris" themed Sim in Second Life. The Eiffel Tower on the Sim was so beautiful and a perfection of an SL Build, that I had to photo it.
I suspected most that would end up photo'ing this tower would likely make it a typical postcard. I wanted something completely different. The thought of Paris as it greets the "End of Days" came to mind.
So this is what I came up with. As you look at the photo, imagine the ominous fires in the sky as they build around Paris's most noted landmark. It stand proudly awaiting its inferno doom. The trees - still green - at the base of the tower, yet only seconds from their own non-existance.
This "green" of life vs the "red" fires of destruction in such close proximity illustrates the extreme contrast and symbolizes how close life lives blissfully within seconds of death.
