Fireplace

This fireplace looks great and I love the warm, cozy glow it gives to my home. But at it's default size, the fireplace is so big that it is taller than the ceiling of my house. In order to make it smaller, you need to "edit linked" and resize the fireplace and firelogs individually. The only problem is that when you try to resize the firelogs using edit linked, you need to link the flames and smoke to the logs before doing so, which is a pain. Also, no matter how small I make the firelogs, the smoke rises up into the top floor of my house (I have the fireplace on the ground level). Based on price and visuals alone, I'd give it five stars. I'm only giving it 3 stars due to the lack of ease in resizing and being unable to adjust the rising level of the smoke.

I was searching for a low prim simple fireplace and this looks fantastic! You cannot beat the price either!

Well, first, can hardly beat the price, and the fireplace is very nicely done! Out of the box, it's huge, and looks like it's impossible to size it down, but actually, it's only the prim just under the fire that is too thin to be shrunk more. So tweaking this prim allows to make the fireplace as small as you like. The only thing I miss is a way to turn off the fire, but apart from that, it's really great!
