This simple HUD will change your perspective—literally.
The idea behind this is to emulate a mouselook, so that you don't have to look at your own butt all the time, but have all the niceties usually reserved for third person perspective: cursor, communicate window and so on.
Click to move camera to first person perspective, click again to reset camera. Doubleclick to bring up configure menu. Through menu, you can tweak the first person camera position.
Unable to change perspective? Just press ESC, or read instructions for more info how to avoid current viewer bug which causes the issue.
Compiled for Mono. Works in no-script areas.

Good but not for driving
For some reason this HUD does not register double click on latest version of Firestorm viewer 7.1.1 but it does on older one. You cannot adjust the camera left or right so this is not useful for driving a car, where in my experience this camera, when moving it down using the button in menu, is off to my left about a head and a half. You could adjust your sit position in car to compensate but your avatar will be sitting off the seat. While driving this camera will not follow the road incline so you will see more of the car floor when uphill. For driving purposes I suggest you look for other First Person Camera available.
Exactly what I was looking for!
Thank you -- I had been looking for script that would allow me to drive my car with the steering wheel and front of the car in the fore view to get a real driving experience. For L$50 this was such a deal -- works great for me!
Not really what I was looking for
I suppose it has its uses, but I was looking for something that would stay aligned with my head. If I sit down, the camera stays where it is. Not sure what I can use it for.
