Hello! Whats more effective than a baseball bat? Well a flanged mace of course. A beautifully simple and effective weapon. Put a few pounds of sharpened pointy steel at the end of a stick and you get an amazing amount of skull crushing force. This weapon is a great alternative for those restricted in SIM to not being able to use a sword. That's a hint to you panthers out there! The weapon, like all 2 tone weapons is highly configurable. It comes with 2 sheathed weapon options, one with a belt and sheath that you can mod to your liking and another lower lag sheathed weapon that you can attach to where ever your heart desires. This beautiful weapon is designed to be fast, agile, and historically accurate. It does basic damage in DCS and will work for CSS and SZ meters although it is primarily designed for use with the GM, GLM, and ML meters.

WEAPON USE DETAILS

This is a basic melee weapon designed by 2tone Weapon Labs. It is designed with enough frills and flexibility to handle combat in using several meters and apply quick effective damage to your enemy.

Features:

* Works with DCS, GM, GLM, ML, and CCS combat meters.
* Designed to be as fast as legally allowed for your meter choice. What does that I mean? Well, in DCS the weapon speed (attacks per second is set by the DCS SIM so It goes as fast as you press the attack key. For GM, GLM, and CCS this speed is set according to weapons guidelines found at http://gm.mivabe.nl/standarts.php and those provided in the GM developers guides.
* The Same exact script (with a custom note card) is used in each weapon. So that no matter what weapon you use in this line, it will behave EXACTLY the same.
* Is designed to play different animations for each directional attack. So there is a right, left, forward, backward, up, and down animation set.
* Will randomly select the animation played for each attack. By doing this you attacks will vary making them look good as well as helping to put your opponent off balance.
* Has a training mode where you can get feedback on the number of hits you have made. Note it still functions as a lethal weapon in training mode.
* Supports dynamic channel mode GM and GLM.
* Gives audio indication of a successful hit.
* Has 2 combat modes one that allows AVs and objects to be hit in the GM/GLM meter, and the other only detects AVs in combat. I assume that the extra detections of objects slows down the weapon so for optimal speed you can go in AV only mode.
* All configuration is from from a dialog box (/1config).
* Every time you equip or reset the weapon it will list all of its set up parameters. This is particularly helpful if you forgot hoe to draw your weapon or access its commands.
* Highly configurable. Customize the draw and sheath text, customize the animations, your sounds, even your weapon control channel.

Future modifications:

* Addition of blood spatter effects.
* Creating a version that does not require that you equip both a "sheath" and a weapon in hand. The new version will require a sheath only and the weapon will be rezzed in your hand when drawn. This may end up being a completely new line of weapons due to the difficulty of customizing the animations and sounds inside the rezed weapons when drawn.
* More and better animations.

How to use:

* Equip the weapon
* The following commands are available to you:
/1draw - draw the weapon
/1sheath - sheath the weapon. Don't forget to sheath it when done! Those stray mouse click will result in attacks.
/1help - get the help note card
/1stats - display the current settings for the weapon
/1configure - bring up the configuration dialog. These are the options:
'DCS'/'SZ/CSS'/'GM/GLM' - Switches the weapon meter between these meters.
DC ON/DC OFF - Turns GM/GLM dynamic channel on or off.
Track Off/Track On - Toggle button that turns the attack tracking on or off.
This display the hit count and direction as well as any
chat messages that would be sent for the command. Turning
this on and off resets the hit count.
Stance - steps through the stances that are available in the weapon.
ATK AVs/ATK ALL - Switches between the ability to attack all objects
and attack AVs only (lower lag).
Help - gives you the weapon help note card.
Reset - resets the weapon setting its configuration back to default.
