== General Info ==

This set of 3D Mesh text is built in the Arial Font, and is packed into a custom scripted rezzer that takes any message you give it and prints it in world in neatly arranged letters in convenient linksets, ready to be placed anywhere you need them. The linkset rezzer script is also capable of resizing the rezzed lettering, including stretching letters taller or wider to fit them into spaces that they initially might not quite fit perfectly.

This set contains all CAPITALS, lowercase, Numbers and Most Symbols, except ` \ { }

The letters are MOD/COPY, but if you attempt to apply your own custom textures, you will BREAK them.

For years in SL 3D mesh lettering has been a trade off of either High Land Impact text, or Low Land Impact text that dissolves into utter nonsense or vanishes entirely the moment the viewer steps more than a few meters away. Neither of these are practical for building stores, displays, clubs or any other sort of occupiable space. What use is a sign if half the people can't $&#%^*@ read it?

This problem is now SOLVED.

This set of high quality optimized mesh letters is crafted to be readable from any distance, as long as you have enough pixels on your monitor and eyes good enough, the text will be legible.

== Technical Info ==

Each individual letter is approximately 0.5 to 1.0 prims at a default size of around 5 meters tall. Each letter uses a single high quality 512 texture with an optimized layout, to insure your sim doesn't get too much added texture load while the letters still maintain excellent quality at any distance. The individual letters are also LOD balanced so they all use the same LOD at the same camera distance to prevent smaller characters such as periods, commas, lowercase characters etc, from switching before their larger counterparts. My text products are more than just simple mesh text, they are technical creations created with game design principals to work optimally inside SL.

Some people will say "To view my product correctly please use RenderVolumeLODFactor 4.0"
This is terrible for SL, so here's a better option, a product that works with that setting at 1.0, far below even the default value.

==Limitations==

These letters, due to their unique construction cannot be made "Semi Transparent" (Alpha Blend). If you need 'ghostly letters' then sadly these will not work. Please do not buy these, and then ask for a refund when you can't make them semi-transparent. You have been warned. Glow does not break them completely, but at a distance they will look blocky. (Tint is quite fine)

Rezzer Scripts are of course, no mod.

As with all meshes, making letters in excess of 10 meters tall each will cause the Land Impact to go up drastically.

Attempting to use the rezzer to create messages that are larger than 45 meters in size will be difficult. If you need messages this long, it's best to use the rezzer to print the message at small scale, then take the resultant linkset and scale it up to the size you need. There is a limitation on linking distances of 64 meters in SL, but if you choose to unlink the letters, there is no limit to the size you can make them, except those that SL places on any meshes.

All Fonts in my shop are either public domain, or licensed for commercial use. Despite this fact though, I do not sell my 3D text full perm, as due to their unique construction, providing support for user created custom textures is nigh pointless.
