Create your own forest with this forest pack. the pack contains the following:
• Four trees in different shapes and sizes
• Four grassy and plant patches
• Two poppy flower bunches
• Three mushroom groups
• Four different nature sound script (3 sound levels)
• A firefly script
• Sun beams, to be placed behind the trees where desired
• Three full perm ground textures (for estate managers)
The tree prim counts are 8, 14, 24, and 37, respectively. They do not contain sculpted, one-prim foliage parts, thereby retaining a higher level of detail when viewed from larger distances, faster rendering, and very limited strange shadowing artifacts from certain view angles.
See item in Second Life- 4 trees in different shapes and sizes (see images)
- 4 grasses and plants (see images)
- 2 poppy flower patches
- 3 sculpted mushroom groups
- Sounds and firefly scripts, sun beams
100L = 75 cents USD
Sooo I'd say it's worth it if you have a large sim with plenty of prim disposal, but if you're like me and have a low prim allowance it may be a pickle to work it in how you want to.
HOWEVER I am really happy with them being copy >_> it annoys me that tree's of all things are now normal to be no copy most the time, so hard to find good tree's that I can use D:
Great product! Recommend this pack!
I barely read what i was buying as I have been sick today and WOW was I pleased with the results. This pack includes some lovely items, much more than my eye caught in the picture! I have added many of these around my parcel to give it a leafy feel and I just love the results.
Thank you for this great product, the quality it of a good standard and the textures are lovely. I recommend these.
Might be worth the money...
You get a lot of items for a 100 L$ here and it's nice to get it all in one package rather than having to shop around. But even so:
The trees look good, not spectacular but well above average. Extremely prim heavy though. And prim leaves do not look better than sculpt ones neither at a distance nor under tricky windlights. I placed them among a mixed bunch of sculpt, mesh and Linden trees and they didn't do any better than the others.
Three of the grass/plant patches are just clumsy, low quality attempts at sculpt vegetation. But the ferns are really good. So good that they alone *might* be worth the 100 L$.
The poppy flowers are the kind they teach at beginners' builder classes. The less said about them, the better.
The mushrooms are mediocre, I've seen better freebies.
The sound scripts are OK but not more and again, you can get as good or better as freebies. There is of course a question whether it's a good idea to use a constantly running script to do something that can easily be done as a scriptless prim property but it's not that important. You won't use that many sound scripts in a sim anyway.
The fireflies are just crude green particle dots. Don't look like fireflies at all.
The sun beams really are among the best I've seen. They better be though, they use four times as many prims as sunbeams usually do.
The ground textures: The forest floor texture is quite interesting. I'm not sure it's a very useful one but it's certainly different (in a good way) from other ground textures I've seen. The other two are bland standard ones. You can find similar ones in your library folder or in just about any freebie texture collection you find.
Five years ago this package might have been great but most of the content here is outdated by today's standards. There are some good stuff here though - especially if you have a lot of prims to spare - and 100 L$ isn't much money. It might be worth it but I'm not sure.
Ditto on quality and price!
A perfect package to create your own little piece of nature! Thank you!
Definitely worth the price
A great pack of objects, very good quality, definitely worth the price.
Quality & Price
The quality well beats the price. The trees look good and so do the plants. It's nice you included ambience to go along with it as well.
