Forging Set

The Forging Set consists of an Anvil & Tools, a Fire Pit & a Quenching Tank and has animations for the forging of a horseshoe or a sword.

By default, the forging period is set to 30 seconds, but this can be changed by the user. The animation can also be paused and resumed. On pausing, the percentage progress is announced in public chat. Provision is made for avatar stance and attachment adjustment.

At the end of the forging period the forged item remains visible for a further 30 seconds. The horseshoe is moved to the anvil horn and the sword to the quenching tank for this period. This allows the owner to add a user script to interface with other applications such as the Unity system. At the end of this period the item reappears in the fire pit, ready for the next job.

The objects have modify & copy permissions, and the scripts and animation have copy permission.

The anvil & tools assembly has LI 12, the fire pit, 8, and the quenching tank 4. The anvil & tools can be used as a stand-alone item if prim economy is an issue.
