Making a cube with one of the sides split into two equal faces is easy: rez a prim cube and set Path Cut to 0.125 and 0.625. But what if you need the two parts to be of different size? Or what if you want more than two faces on the same side? Here's the solution. I originally made these as floors for two room houses but they have many other uses too of course.
These cubes have one side split into two or more faces with different sizes. Apart from that the ones with two or three splits work just as regular prim cubes (except you can't twist them of course, we can't do that with mesh). For the ones with the top split into more than three faces, we run into the limitation of eight faces on a mesh
Currently the collection includes five different cubes:
+ Split into two:
- 3:2 proportion
- 11:9
- 21:11
+ Split into 3:
- Equal size split
+ Split into 4:
- Equal size split, no bottom
+ Split into 6:
- Equal size split, no bottom, sides as two faces

These are the ones I've needed myself so far. If you need a different proportion, let me know and I'll add it to the collection. I'll have to charge a small fee for the job but only a dollar for each (250 L$ in SL or 300 KC on Kitely).
Meshes as simple as these aren't going to cause any issues neither with lag, LOD or physics.

You have permission to:
+Use in Second Life as many modified and unmodified copies as you like for your own personal use and as parts of public and rental builds owned by you or a group where you are one of the owners.
+Keep as many copies as you like in your inventory
+Use it as part of builds you sell or give away as long as the permissions are set to *either* copy or transfer, *not* both.

You do *not* have permission to
-Distribute the item on its own
-Distribute the item with both copy and transfer permissions
-Use it in any way outside Second Life.

If you buy a full perm item from OPQ Builders' Supplies, you will sometimes receive two copies of it, one textured and one that is either blank or color coded with different colors for each face. Please not that the textured copy usually is not transferable, it is only intended as an example how the item can be textured. The reason for this is that I don't always have permission to distribute the textures full perm and we just have to respect that.
