Jake v3 body not supported
Nice mesh, would like to release them!
Too many of my customers are Jake wearers to consider a product release when one major brand body won't fit the current body! Asking customers to roll back their inventory to use an old version body isn't realistic, just to wear a pair of shoes from le glamouriste, unless of course they really love my menswear.
Also to consider, Belleza doesn't supply the old body with Jake v3.0. The only way to get a copy, if the old unpacker HUD isn't in your customer's inventory, is to request it from Belleza!
This review was written after discussing this with Belleza directly to confirm that the developer kits included the new feet weight. I've also had an ongoing discussion with Lenka Canvas for certain Jake shoe models to be updated. The wait has been a long one, but, I'm hopeful the product will be fixed.
In the meantime, the review is intended to be useful to anyone considering a purchase, and not meant to be a complaint.
If White Canvas Templates, as well as a few other Market Place based full perm creators, would simply make demos available, this sort of discussion could be eliminated. It would then be on the purchaser to make an informed purchase. As it stands now, we see a written description, product image(s) and must take it on faith regarding mesh quality, rigging and design details.
I'm aware many full perm creators have demos, and most of my mesh comes from them, however, full perm menswear is more challenging to locate, and for that reason, I buy what I can (with or without a demo,) if the mesh might suit my brand.
*Notes:
A similar issue occurred with the WC Roman Sandals, which took well over a year to receive updated. I'm happy to say those were indeed fixed and delivered, Summer 2023. At Lenka Canvas' request, the review for WC Roman Sandals has been updated to reflect the Jake v3 fix.
At the moment, I'm also waiting for an update to the WC Summer Moccasins, Jake v3
