Paint Kit for Shergood's EC-135 VIP model in Guava Green.
Updated 2021-03-09: Added error messages and scripting for common errors.
This is a paint set for Shergood’s EC-135 VIP. This is paint only. The helicopter, island, and pilot are not included. You must own a Shergood brand EC-135 for the paint bucket to work. This product may not work if Gifted. I have not tested whether it will or won’t. The paint bucket and copter owner must be the same person.
The item is mostly No-Mod and completely No-Transfer. However, you can drop a Shergood “*config-override” notecard in the fuselage paint can to change the tail number position and color. You’ll find instructions for the override card in the EC-135’s folder and on the Shergood Aviation website.
This paint set changes four fuselage diffuse textures and the specular/glossy settings. Also, four-rotor diffuse textures are changed if you apply the Rotor Paint.
This kit has two paint cans. The fuselage paint uses the Shergood paint system. Instructions are below. The rotor paint uses my paint applier system. Also, with instructions below.
The nature of these systems is different. The paint sets are APPLIERS. One using the Shergood paint applier system. The textures are loaded in the applier-script. Meaning no texture files are included. WARNING: resetting the scripts in the fuselage paint bucket WILL KILL the applier. Make sure you have a backup copy of the paint bucket. Crying, begging, or sending money MAY get you a redelivery.
In the rotor paint, the textures are hardcoded in the script. Resetting the script will NOT break it.
COLOR: I call it: Guava Green. Glossy. It is possible to change the level of gloss using the Shergood config-override. But, I don’t guarantee that.
The rotor paint colors the stationary blades. The rotor paint includes main and tail rotor color change. This includes the stationary and spinning blade colors.
