A Pair of Exceptional Candelabras in gilded bronze and marble vases. After a model made by Pierre Gouthiere in 1780 for the Main Salon of the wealthy financier Grimmond de la Reynieres Paris Mansion.
The candelabras composed of a truncated oval-form vase made of Green Vosges Granite supporting three arms decorated with arabesques ad acanthus foliage holding the candle holders.
the central arm, decorated with an open pineapple plant and crowned with a pineapple.
The design bears witness to the fashion for exoticism that reigned among Parisian high society during the second half of the 18th century.

Full of Charm and Glow
I love these girandoles—elegant, detailed, and perfect for adding a touch of Rococo brilliance to any room.
Sublime
Epoustouflantes Girandoles qui de sa texture et sa lumière fait jaillir que du bonheur dans une pièce à vivre. Merci.
Extraordinary
The texturing work on these opulent girandoles is really well done. The metalwork shines in a bright gold and the candle flames spark a nice light in a room. The porphyry of the bases looks so detailed and really makes the whole piece pop.
