Waltz right into the Gilded Age with this evening gown from 1883 which pays tribute to Alva Vanderbilt (later Belmont). This fascinating woman was both a nouveau-riche socialite who took on Caroline Astor and the old guard, and a women's suffrage activist who was the founder and president of the National Women's Party from 1917 until her death in 1933. She is the primary inspiration for the character Bertha Russell on the HBO series.

The gown consists of a long, pointed peau de soie bodice with short sleeves and lace overlays. The matching skirt is finished with rows of gathered lace under front and back drapery of embroidered satin. A moderate train of pleated peau de soie completes the back. Decoration is in the form of small roses and a pair of large silk bows.

There are 8 color options in 11 different areas, with full tinting capabilities. The textures are in PBR and legacy materials, and there is also the option to hide the decorative roses if desired. It is fitted to eBody Reborn & Juicy. A minimal leg movement AO is recommended to preserve the look of the many skirt layers.

It's gorgeous, the details are stunning, fits perfect. IT IS MOD!
It's everything you could hope for in a gown like that.
Thank you so much for creating this
