YOU WON`T EVER NEED AN OTHER DOOR AGAIN!!!

1-prim-Group and/or Owner door that actually can be any door you would like to have. Nearly everything on it is customizable and it makes a good security barrier for Roleplay & Combat sims, where places have to be accessible by the rules.

- different open/close-modes --> Swing, Slide, Disappear
- different sound-setups included --> Standard, Mechanical, Old Wood, Binary also coming with different textures that match the sounds for open, close and lock-break-attempts
- autoclose can be turned ON / OFF as well as the time delay for the auto-close-function can be set by the owner
- Lock can be secure (accessible only for who´s got permission) or breakable*** (accessible for anyone who takes the time to break the lock)
- customizable use range (no more door open/close by camming peeps who are hundrets of meters away
- customizable everything because this item is MOD and even better ...
- its COPYABLE!!!

*** Explanation of the breakable lock function in short:
Setting the Lock to BREAKABLE will let those, who werent granted access to the door, give the opportunity to break the lock. In the lockbreak-routine you go through a loop of attempts to break the lock every time you click the door. Of course not by clicking it a million times - there´s a time delay between the lock-break-attempt-clicks (which also can be set by the owner and is set to 10 seconds by default) and depending on the luck the person trying to break in has, it will take 1 (very unlikely) to 8 clicks (after 8 clicks the lock damage will be 100) to open the door. Every click will break the lock a little more ... and with every click that furthers the lock-damage the probability will be higher to break the lock completely. Short: At the 1st click the probability to cause damage high enough to break the lock will be 1/100, at the 7th click the chance will have raised to 1/2 already, and if even that fails - the 8th click will definately break the lock. The Owner of the door will be notified once a lock was successfully broken.

Group Access setup didn't have instructions, but works great!

I couldn't figure out how to set group access at first, so I'll tell you how it's done. First, use the door's menu. Say "/99 setup" in local chat, then click the door (which must be CLOSED), click the "access" button, and choose "group." Click the "finish" button in door's menu when you're done in order to active all your settings. Now you have to use the regular edit object tool in SL in order to set which group the door belongs to. Right-click the door, choose "Edit Object" in pie menu, under the "General" tab, scroll down to "Group," then choose a group from the list which pops up when you click on it. The group access feature will only allow members of that group to open the door. Non group members can still pick the lock, as long as you have the lock-picking feature ennabled on the door.

There are three sound/texture options that come with the door: a science fiction door that looks like it belongs inside a space ship (and works great with the slide door method for opening), the rusty metal industrial looking door, and the wood door that is shown in the ad here. You can also use your own texture.

The door does not come with a door frame, a handle prim, or a hinge prim, but if you want those aesthetic details, it's easy to make your own. The door is a simple block prim, but the 3 textures that come with it are all nice enough looking that I didn't mind. You can stretch the door to fit any size opening.

If you choose to make your door open as if it's on a hinge, it does not let you choose which side the hinge is on. Maybe you can flip the prim upside down to reverse the hinge. I didn't try that.
