Pure mesh. These models retain excellent LOD at any distance. Each piece is only .5 LI so you can make elaborate builds at very low LI.
Texturing is simple and most textures can be used at simple 1.00 x 1.00 scale without offset. The 4-face model has extra faces for specialty textures.
The models have been carefully sized, to make assembly easy and precise. Models default to zero rotation to ensure that precision.
A simple example has been included that is color coded example to show the texture-able faces.
If you are uncomfortable with someone else as the creator of your build, it is common practice to add a prim of your own as the root prim.
