The HCML Holographic Chronicle System is a device for role play that is completely interactive, user-programmable, and infinitely expandable. An HCML Holographic Chronicle projects an image of your choosing and recites lessons based on natural language interaction. -- You talk to the Holographic Chronicle as you would an intelligent entity, in full complete sentences.

An HCML Holographic Chronicle uses notecards as its datastore, as well as programming its behavior. The notecards are formatted in HoloGraphic Chronical Markup Language (HCML), It is easy to learn, and no prior programming experience is needed.

An HCML Holographic Cronicle can listen to either local chat or common RP tools.

Each HCML Notecard can hold up to 20 Lessons, in turn a lesson can link to another HCML Notecard making the storage of an HCML Holographic Chronicle virtually limitless.

With the introduction of HCML 2.0, not only does it still power holographic chronicles, but NPCs as well with HCML tags to play sounds, give inventory, and to play animations on animesh objects. HCML 2.0 also introduces Holo to Holo (H2H) communication. where HCML 2.0 devices can interact with one another. Another breakthrough with HCML 2.0 is the External Script API. Now you can write your own HCML modules in LSL extending the functionality even further!
