The HD Fire Helmet features custom made Mesh assets and utilizes baked textures with an optional dirt layer. It takes full advantage of bump maps, specular maps and projector light features.
It has a modern strengthened glass visor for your personal protection as well as an option for a full face-shield. The HD Beam Flashlight provides a focused light stream while fighting fires and can be mounted above or below the outer helmet rim.
The helmet can be set to any color and supports custom textures. The reflectors can be color changed or completely removed. The shield holder has seven different options: Fire Department Badge, HD Logo, USA Flag, the Classic Eagle design and plain Silver, Black or Bronze.
The shield badge itself has 3 text areas for customization:
The Top Line for the title that offers 36 selections. You can also make your own with the included template texture.
The center section can display any number between 1 and 9999 which will be automatically centered.
The Bottom Line will display any name with a length of up to 14 characters or a custom decal texture.
It also allows for easy color changes of individual areas and comes with 5 color presets for your convenience.

The helmet is available with copy and modify rights to offer you full customization to adjust it to your personal preferences. The helmet menu script is set to copy only but is made with robustness in mind and will keep working through any linkset changes.

Repeat customer here and former RL public servant.
This helmet from HD Emergency is the perfect way to "top off" (no pun intended) your turnout gear. Love the number of option choices built into the helmet. It's use is for the City RP implementation that I'm building - but it's accuracy and attention to detail takes me back to the glory days.
Last but not least, is the customer service. I've not had to contact HD (Lares) for any quality issues, but just normal correspondence regarding program sign-up's etc. Lares is very responsive and clearly has a true interest in the end-users. Thanks HD Emergency!

I use a pony avatar and with light modding this became the best wearable helmet on sl and I couldn't reccommend it enough.
