DESCRIPTION
Heavy Downpour is an immersive, expressive wearable rain FX
designed to place your avatar inside a dramatic rainfall
environment.

The effect combines atmospheric rain falling from above with
fast‑moving water droplets around the avatar, creating a
strong sense of depth, motion, and intensity without visual
clutter or harsh particle artifacts.

Heavy Downpour is intended for moody outdoor scenes, stormy
weather builds, photography, roleplay, and cinematic moments
where a visible, weighty rain effect is desired.

This is a stylised rain system focused on movement, realism,
and visual impact rather than subtle background drizzle.

HOW TO USE

Wear the Heavy Downpour wearable.

Activate the rain by:

• Using the compatible FX HUD (if worn)

Touch or press the HUD button again to turn the effect off.

The rain automatically follows your avatar.

• Other avatars will only see the rain if they are wearing it
• Best results achieved in open or semi‑open environments
• Works especially well with stormy EEP / Windlight settings
