HRN Employee Time Clock

Save your money and buy this now. It is a very stable tool to manage work you would otherwise do manually.

This device will allow you to automatically pay employees and is highly configurable to suit many needs.

Step 1:

The first thing you must do once the device is placed "in world" is to turn it on.
Click on the HRN Logo, in the blue menu click on the "Turn On" button, the light on top of the clock should turn to green.
Click on the "ignore" button in the blue menu system.

Once the device is On have your employee stand next to the time clock.

Now click on the HRN Logo and in the blue menu system click on the "Add" button, and then click on the employees name you wish to add to the time clock.
If the employees name no longer appears on the blue menu you have succeeded in adding the employee to the time clock. Now click on the "ignore" button.

Congratulations, you have added an employee to the time clock.

Step 2:

Click on the HRN Logo and click on the "List" button in the blue menu system. You should see the employees name you have added before. Click on the employees name. The menu you see now is where you may configure the settings for this employee.

STATS- Will show you the employees stats.

AMOUNT- Will allow you to configure the employees hourly earnings in L$.

BONUS TIME- Will allow you to set an amount of hours the employee must work to receive a bonus.

TIME- Will allow you to set a time table within witch this employee will be paid.
Example: TIME START 9:00AM TIME END 11:00AM. If the settings for an employee are set in this way, the employee may only clock in within these times. The device by default is set to allow the employee to clock in ALWAYS, in other words at any time.

BONUS L$- Will allow you to set the L$ amount paid to the employee once the employee has worked the time set on the BONUS TIME menu.

REMOVE- Will remove this employee from the time clock.

BAN- Will ban the employee from your land and remove the employee from the time clock.

Step 3:

At this time you should have the personal settings for one of your employees configured.
If you still have any blue menus open please click on the "ignore" button.

Now we will explain what the other features on the device do. Please click on the HRN Logo.

These are the buttons you will see:

TURN ON or OFF- Will turn the time clock On or Off.

ADD- As explained previously allows the owner of the time clock to add employees to the time clock.

LIST- As explained previously, will list the employees that have been added to the time clock and that are currently in the time clock's memory.

RANGE- This button will allow you to set the range of the scanner within the device. the range is set in meters. In the range menu you may choose to have the RANGE ON or OFF. If the RANGE ON feature is active, all avatars within the set range in meters will be scanned, if employees who are currently clocked in are NOT within range of the device, they will be clocked out, and no payments will be made to that employee until the employee clocks in again and remains within the set range of the time clock.
If the RANGE OFF feature is active, the employee does not need to be in range of the time clock to continue clocked in and receive payment, but the employee will receive a code request so that the employee may confirm he or she is active and not AFK.

SCAN TIME- Scan time by default is set at 10min. Scan time refers to the time between employee scans, with every scan, the time clock sends a color code request to all employees currently clocked in. If the employee submits the correct code he or she will continue clocked in and earning L$. If the wrong code is submitted the employee will be clocked out. The RANDOM ON or OFF function in this menu will randomize the scan time, if the scan time is set at 10min. and the RANDOM function is set to ON, then the time clock will send the code request at either 5min, 10min, or 15min at chance.
If the RANDOM function is set to OFF then the time clock will always send the code request at the set scan time, as in the previous example, every 10min.
IM ON or OFF- This function when ON will send an IM to the the owner of the time clock every time an employee fails to submit the correct color code.

PAYMENT- This button will allow you to set the default payment amount for all NEW employees added to the time clock after the PAYMENT value has been changed.

HELP- This button when clicked will give the "HRN Employee Time Clock Help" note card you are reading now.

Stats- Will show the general statistics for the time clock.

RESET- Will return the device to it's original default state.

a very simple time clock to operate, somewhat tricky at first especially when adding people to pay roll, overall very pleased and satisfied with the ease of use.

I bought the HRN Employee Time Clock (L$ 1999) and I have the following lack of features:

I need that all Managers could receive the Clocked In / Clocked Out IMs, not only the owner.

It would be nice to have a weekly distribution of time worked at each day, for each employee.

My idea of using this device is to control the time that each police member works and not the payment itself.

Also, I have the following problem: when I select Info at the Employees / List / AVATAR / Info, I (and the Managers) get my info and not the AV's info.

Great product and OUTSTANDING support. 5 STARS!

Changing review again as of 2/02/08

I originally bought this timeclock when it was v 1.0 and cost L$499. Back then, it was a great investment. The HRN staff have updated it since and added every feature requested to them and it's made the job of running a club a BREEZE. This time clock is by far -the best- out on the market. It's easy to use, it includes manager and group control and just offers everything a good timeclock should have. The HRN folk have also been extremely helpful and communication has been great.

Thanks for the wicked product. I'll gladly give your name to anyone who asks for gadgets such as this.
