Each sign is below the low end cap on PE and only counts for 1/2 prim technically. So an individual sign would count as 1 prim. 2 linked signs still only 1 prim.

These things are totally worth it. Simple, compact, good looking. Everything was there to mod it as stated. Not sure I will ever use the top display bit. But it works perfectly. No massive laggy scripts needed. Hell hardly any prims needed. Trying to make something like this out of regular prims would take 5-6 I would think. Yet these only count as 1/2 prim when linked. That is just nuts!
Simple and complete
I got the no copy version of this first.....big mistake. It worked fine and all but these things work great and 2 for 1 prim hard to resist scattering them everywhere.
Just apply the texture and done. I even made a simple script to switch the textures on the faces. No complex sculpty maps or anything. Super simple script. Last thing anyone ever wants to have to do is learn how to "use" a sign just to advertise something. Some of the others I have tried had quite a learning curve.
Only possible down side is that it is mesh.......not sure if that really counts as a down side though these days.
