Originally this head was made for a male avatar. and not intended for female hair, I made a smaller version for my head, but this does not mean that all the hairs in the world corresponded to my head, the reptile head this is reptile head, not a human

still an adorable head
Despite it being a bit on the older side, I still really like this head - it's one of the few viable choices for lizards out there (since, for a while at least, there wasn't many choices for reptiles or dragons on SL to begin with). Lots of expressions + customization options like deformers, clean and smooth looking mesh, lovely default textures (especially the eyes), and looks really adorable! I also appreciate that there's a smaller version of the head for if people feel like the default is too big.
I just would've loved to have seen it get a small eyed version like the deer head, but I understand that'll probably never happen at this point. The HUD is also pretty big, but you can at least shrink it and move it around. You may also find trouble getting hair for this head that's not unrigged, but that's just an issue with many furry heads in general, especially with big, long snouts or big eyes.
Overall, I still give this a solid recommendation to scalies out there looking for a cute head! Do note that there's not that much out there for this, so if you want to wear this head you may have to make your own skins.
Good look, poor execution
I will give 4 stars simply because of the work done here, the animations are golden and the look is precisely what I wanted to see for years in SL...
All that aside...
Either I'm a dunce and can't color this thing to save my life or I'm just inept, but conservatively there is no easy color fixes here with this head. I even bought a texture applier and now cannot remove the unwanted textures to just color match it in the first place. I am not a coder or scripter in SL and do not understand the systems in place to even make this head change from white to red. Sure I can edit it, but that's not a match! The HUD only handles animations, eye placement, tongue and jaw opening and it's a great HUD but where in the heck do ya fix the color of this dangone thing?!?!

I do not understand people's issue with the head. The problem has been resolved and most hairs can be worn with this head's smaller version. The eyes are big because it's a reptile afterall! Have you seen a geckos eyes?
Putting people's concerns behind, this head is another amazing creation from Happy Paw. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a head for a reptile character. You can easily make it into a dragon or anything else, really!

I REALLY wanted to love this head
When I saw HP was releasing heads and that the reptile/dragon was next I was excited, but I just can't make it work with anything.
In my opinion, the eyes are just too big, it doesn't look right on anything I try to make and I'm disappointed. If there was a version with smaller eyes or you could change the size of the eye shape when editing your body without it deforming I'm probably use it.
Other than that, the head is really good, the customization options for the mouth and snoot are great and i love the inside of the mouth.
Knocked it out of the park, once again!
There were issues originally, but August once again fixed everything that was fixable, per customer complaints. I'm really happy with the head now, I'll have to mod it! Great work, August.
