A collection of 5 original, unique digital noise clips (think dialup modems, old computer game tapes etc.), lovingly brought to Second Life by the infamous monsterpoet, artist, and happy dance activist - Vegro Solari.
The sounds cover some ground, with neatly chosen segments of the original datastream cut out and prepared for human consumption. There are seamlessly cycling hisses, crackles, resembling white noise, yet clearly of digital (data) origin, and rounding off the pack are two 10sec clips that sound like R2D2 on acid + under torture.
* All original and unique sounds, full perms.
* Each seamlessly looped (no crossfading or audible jumps).
* Use at low volume for post-digital ambiance, or on full to blast binary exstacy
* Professionally produced with the analogue feel and filthiness you want.
* Ear killing frequencies in the binary data were carefully removed, yet leaving the original harsh timbre untouched.
Most people would find these sounds unbearable; so who knows, maybe it's perfect for you?

Contains 2 discrete sounds, not 5
The sounds themselves are really good. But as the other reviewer pointed out, the first three sounds are virtually identical. There may be some nuances within them that make them sound different to the discerning ear. But for this old musician, I can't quite make those nuances out.
At any rate, the actual sounds do sound wonderfully harsh and glitchy.
so disappointed
1. I thought i could use those sounds in builds. I can't. they are just to use when you click for your avi to make some noise (and good luck to find a reason for your avatar to make the noise of a car waiting at a stop)
2. there are 5 noises in the box. 1.2 and 3 are exactly the same.
I was looking for some sounds to make my cyber place more realistic.. At least it was not expensive.
But i lost 49 lindens anyway.
