General Products is proud to offer, the Hexagonal Structure Assembly Kit.
3 months of development and optimization were invested into this project, which originally started as a tech brief for possible Mars structure construction developed by a 'For realsies' engineer. As time went on, it was realized that the pieces could be uploaded to Second Life. Now you too can have the fun of building your own unique structures.
(Prim count is the total of all 21 individual pieces.)
The pieces come untextured, with six example builds to get you started. Clever UV mapping was utilized to maximize In-World editing and customization. Other than a good familiarization with editing prims and texture faces in SL, you won't need to use any external programs to get a good look out of your structure.
Additionally, a decently sized texture chooser with 1,500 tile-able textures has been included to help get you started.
Note: Having a 'builders client' like Firestorm will be a great asset, the ability to quickly copy and paste prim rotation/coordinates will be helpful.
- Extremely user configurable
- Very Low LI (Land Impact)
- Full physics interactive with avatars
- Multiple texture faces
- Anyone from a beginner to an expert builder can use
Unbelievable!
Ok this kit blew me away. First because of what you get for the price. These are quality pieces with amazing textures that you can do amazing things with. I would expect to pay over $4000Ls at least for a set like this. The first piece I saw was a piece that the creator, after thanking me for buying the set, (That was very nice. Another plus!) sent me the first example. So I didn't have to unpack my set. The house was beautiful, huge and just looked totally different from anything else I've seen. It wasn't the usual Steel/grungy Sci Fi look it was very unique. It also wasn't your basic "Hallway and Room" kit most kits are. There was so much more to it. I've looking for something like this for such a long time. Then the creator tells me a better version is in the works and I'll be getting the upgrade too, then sends me a version of that first example. I had no problem with the kit I have, but the second is a little more streamline, beautiful you know the creator has put tons of time and effort into making this, perfecting it, I appreciate the work. It's fantastic! The stucco texture looks so real it looks like if you touch it your hands would turn white and chalky, plus you get a texture kit with 1500 textures. You can't lose. The creator also extended an invitation to go see the rest of the examples. I definitely want to go. So helpful and nice! Worth every penny and more! Great job Kalterzar, you've won me over!
