A full perm, full featured script for doors. The only limitation is that it will only work for doors which hinge on the z-axis, which is almost all doors.
Oct 2019, added collision ability.
Jan 2017, added customizable chat commands (any channel) to open/close the door.
There are options for setting hinge side, swing direction, degrees to open, auto-close, auto-close time, and speed of the swing. Using this script, your door will open and close smoothly, not with a snap.
This is one of the few door scripts you'll find that works with a single-prim door. It will also work in a door that's a link-child of a larger structure.
There are also algorithms in the script to correct for "creep" (the small rounding errors that accumulate with LSL floats over time).
A second script is also included which can be placed in your door to make open-close sounds.
(A review says this script isn't full perm, but it absolutely is. Just look at the properties on the "Contents" tab.)

100 percent full perms despite what some other reviewer said, I've a few door scripts, half of them I feel like I nee a lawyer before I make anything, I'm not allowed sell below 12 trillion shekels, can do this cant do that, with this one he just lets you get on with it, don't sell the script on its own (which is obvious and Id never do) just put it in the thing you want to use/sell, and use it/sell it

great door action script
The script responds with smooth opening action (not too fast) and opening/closing sound is clear with a pleasant tone. The opening action is also triggered when bumping into the door which is good. I've purchased other door scripts where the door moves after opening-- frustrating; however, this product script by Acme Sales is solid. Thank you. Pebs.

I couldn't imagine it being any easier to know what line of code to change to what to make the door for exactly what I want, how I want it.
