HoA Red Roses Rococo
This is one of my range of flamboyant Rococo and Baroque gowns in the style of the opulent courts of the later kings of France and is suitable for the Versailles, Languedoc and other similar SecondLife sims of ths period.
In the eighteenth century France was the leader in fashion although the design of gowns did vary from country to country as they added their own local nuances. Skirts began to widen and trains disappear during the later years of the reign of Louis XIV but it was during the reigns of Louis XV with Madame de Pompadour, and of Louis XVI with Queen Marie Antoinette that the hooped petticoat allowed skirts to take on almost any shape desired.
Contrasting overskirts were popular in France and England during this time but other courts tended to prefer a single fabric visible. Both styles are available in our range.
During the first quarter of the 18th century the sacque or watteau train was popular with heavy fabric hanging from the shoulders to the ground. This then disappeared and skirts widened to their maximum by the middle years of the century before receding somewhat and a long train appearing at the back of the actual skirt pulled from the waist.
There are a number of optional items included in many of my gowns, which may include fan, train, extra sleeves and other options.
My gowns all include the latest version of our special scripts, possibly the most advanced dress control system in SecondLife. Clicking on the skirts in any sim that allows scripts will bring up a menu of options. These include turning the AO on and off, setting head, arms, body and leg positions, a curtsey and other greetings, a hug/kiss and a special Goto/Follow mode which allows one to follow another person allowing you time for more important things like talking.
Due to the internal scripts and animations, these gowns are sold on a no-copy yes-transfer basis with modify rights on the bits that occasionally need to be altered. Please note that many items list in inventory as no-modify because of the no-modify scripts and animations in them but in fact they can still be adjusted. If any part of the garment is damaged in doing so I will happily replace it.
Thank you for looking at this product from the House of Alisha. If you purchase it then I really hope you enjoy wearing it or any of my other gowns as much as I enjoyed making them.

WAY TO CHEAP ITS BOM AND GORGEOUS
MASTERWORK! I wore it in roleplay and it photographs so well! just an AMAZING piece
Exquisite; superb.
What an incredible steal at $100L. I saw this and immediately fell in love with it and just could not pass it up. I'm so glad I bought this; though it's a breath-taking ensemble in-world there is SO much more to this ensemble than pictures can accurately convey or even really touch on, like the AO that is embedded in the skirt! Just amazing, I've never seen anything like it. The menus that clicking the skirt pull up all work flawlessly and are very easy to use. Perhaps it's a typo and Alisha meant to list this for $1000L. It's well worth it even at that price, you can take that to the bank.
