First and Foremost ... Each mesh bodies layer/alpha system is different.
So its important to know your body and what works and what wont work.
Legacy is the most flexible when it comes to layer visibility as far as I know of.
( to my knowledge ) * Will Also include this in description before Purchasing product .*

Freya Users:

On your Body Hud; in the layers tab; There is a target button on the right of the clear all layers button.

Click ' torso + left arm ' THEN Apply the tattoo. ( In that order )

Legacy Users :

You would need to work under the ' Advance Material Editor '

under the third layer there is a button that has a silhouette of a body and a arrow.

Click that , row of body parts should show up.

Start clicking the body parts you want to lower the Transparency on.

Once you do, they should be 1-2 body parts highlighted.

Look over to the right and theres a transparency slider, slide the dot to the far right.

HG users ;

You would need to use half sleeves because the hand layer will be not let you make just 1 hands tattoo layer invisible for desired look.

Once you add the half sleeves / or full sleeve, right click on first bodys arm to the far left on your slink body hud under layers .

That will make it so you have only 1 sleeve showing.

If you really want to use the full sleeve , you would need to wear a different hand.

( You could always wear vista hand system / MixMatch Mesh Hands , which ever fits best)

Maitreya Users :

Do not recommend buying , layers hud is not as flexible.

Any other mesh body , You would need to go to youtube to get a better education on your layers flexibility .
