Love it!
I buy a lot of houses on SL. This is one of my favorites. Aside from a few things that need to be tweaked. And not having stairs. Other than that its perfect. Compared to a lot of other houses I've seen, with way more ratings. Clearly a hidden gem.
This builder's homes improve with each release, but one thing I wish it had....
One of my "hobbies" is that I collect homes in SL (in RL I study architecture and I love the freedom that SL gives builders without limits). However, like many people, I live SL as an "extension" so my RL, where I meet with friends, discuss projects, etc. So, I like to buy and use homes that are as "real" as possible. For example, I turn off auto-close doors, etc. to make it as "real" of an experience as possible (of course in a virtual world). This home is extremely well made, and you can easily see that with each home released, the quality is steadily improving, and it looks very good. THE ONE THING THAT I CANNOT STAND - and I wish it had mentioned this somewhere in the advertisement, was ONLY having a teleport to go up and down floors. No stairs. I know that building is a true art, and the you also need to squeeze as many prims as possible into a build and keep it low in the count. However, no stairs? That is honestly very old-school. I think if this home had just a staircase - that's all it needs - I would give it 5+ stars. But now that I have it, and without stairs, I probably won't use it. One nice thing is that the builder did make this modify. So, I took it apart, and pulled the floor dividing the foyer out. It will need some room reconfiguration, etc. to get a good line-up to place some simple stairs, and it will be a bit of work, so I won't bother right now. But again - this builder always delivers a good QUALITY product. And you do get a good value for the money. Thanks much - Brick Haworth-Masters
I love it.
I'm glad I bought this house. It's large and really well made.
