Ibeji - the Divine twins
The sacred twins; they represent youth, energy, vitality, abundance, blessings, the gift of children, the sacredness of family, and the mysteries of the divine. The also represent love, truth and justice. They are each both male and female. They favor sweets, candies, dolls and toys. They are petitioned for help with fertility and for childhood illnesses. Their color is yellow; cognate with St. Cosmas and St. Damian, and the vodou loa the Marassa.
