Ice Skate Effects HUD Version 1.1

General Description
==============
The Ice Skate Effects HUD system enables you to add particle effects to your ice skates and control them with a HUD. The delivery box includes four transparent particle emitters and one HUD. Two of the emitters (one for each foot) create an ice spray, and the other two create trailing streaks on the ice. The HUD allows you to turn either set of emitters on, off or on only when moving. It also allows you to change the color of the ice spray.

This product does NOT include ice skates or skating animations. it is intended as an add-on only.

Setup
===========
1. Add the four emitters to your avatar. Temporarily make them visible by pressing CTRL-ALT_T.
NOTE: You can attach all four emitters at the same time by selecting them all while holding down the shift key, then right click and select "Add".

2. Adjust the position of the Ice Spray emitters to be approximately centered on the blades of each skate.

3, Adjust the position of the Streak emitters to be approximately centered at the rear end of the blades.

4. When finished adjusting the emitter positions, press CTRL-ALT-T again to make the emitters invisible.

5. Add the Skate Effects HUD.

6. Go ice skating!

NOTE: The particle effects are best viewed in a night environment.

Changing the Ice Spray Colors
====================
The HUD comes with six preset color buttons. However you can change the colors to any other color you prefer by changing the button face color as follows:

1. While wearing the HUD, riight-click it and select "Edit" from the pie.

2. On the General tab of the Edit window, select the radio button named "Select Face"

3. Select the "Texture" tab in the Edit window.

4. Touch the face of the "Color 1" button on the HUD to select it. Make sure the name shows as "color 1" and the Face shows as number 4 in the Edit window.

5. Touch the "Color" box in the Edit window and the Color Picker window will open.

6. From the "Color Picker", select the desired color. If not already checked, checkmark "Apply now". The selected button will change to the selected color.
NOTE: The color will appear lighter on the button face than on the actual particles. Use the color on the color picker to judge how the particles will look.

7. Repeat steps 4-6 for any other color buttons you want to change.

8. When finished, click OK on the Color Picker and close the Edit window.

NOTE: The HUD has mod permissions, so you can customize it to your liking (add/remove or move buttons, change the HUD face texture, etc.). Do not change the name of any button, however, since the button name determines the function commands that are sent to the emitters.
