A modest yet elegant Asian two-piece outfit, inspired by the Pazyryk Iron Age people from the Altai plains of Siberia. We know a lot about them today because of the discovery of the famous Ice Maiden, whose outfit this skirt and blouse set is based on.
Possibly a priestess or a storyteller, she died at around the age of 25 and was buried with six horses and two armed bodyguards. She and her men were covered in the most intricate tattoos ever seen on an Iron Age body, with winged snow leopards, horned griffins and vulture-headed stags, her body was a work of art even two and a half millennia later. She was wearing a silk blouse and striped woolen skirt befitting a noble or wealthy woman.

Love the concept. Implementation needs a wee bit of tweaking.
For someone who when they entered SL wanted to create an avatar that existed anywhere from Nepal, Tibet, Mongolia, very little was around that was decently made and represented any cultural or ethnic groups, modern or ancient. I was SO excited to find this line of skirts and tops (as well as tattoos!!!) which represented the ancient woman of the Urok/Altai area. I immediately got this freebie as well as the Limited Edition. Here are my thoughts. I will also send a NC to you because I don't want you to miss these words.
1. The textures themselves are wonderful combinations and seem to work decently with the mesh they are on but I'm confused about the skirt. It is longer in the front than the back. Is that the standard wearing of this skirt by these women? It cuts into any footwear and one can not use an alpha on the feet because it is shorter in the back and one would appear legless. Also, drawing attention to this issue, and a concern on its own, there is a whitish patch at the very bottom along the feet which does not seem to have any related texture on it. Is that something you worked into the design or is the texture simply not extending down the skirt along the front? It is on all the skirts.
2. The alphas. The alpha you supplied has a neckline which works fine with S & XS but not with M or L. The necklines of the M & L blouses are lower on the chest, exposing the alpha. Secondly, the elbows don't seem to be covered by the alpha. I have an avatar who bends her elbows regularly and those are constantly poking thru the sleeves. I waited a day to comment on this because I thought perhaps I was having rezzing issues in SL but after all the testing I've done the alphas are still an issue. Lastly, it would be WONDERFUL if a full outfit alpha was included to save a spot on our alpha masks. If one is wearing the top & skirt together there is no reason to wear 2 separate alpha masks and would love to see this added.
