There is a known issue with the patterned hat bands. "Anisotropic filtering" needs to be enabled for the striped and checkered bands to display properly. This can be turned on through Preferences -> Graphics -> Hardware options.

I came into SL wanting to create a very specific look. I spent a long time thinking about and considering bowlers and other different hats all over the grid.
This hat is exactly what I was looking for, down to the last detail. The attention to detail and swapping textures are amazing. Don't bother looking for any other bowler, especially at this price.
