Infinity Industries Electricity Pylon & Cables Kit

The kit contains 30 metre and 50 metre tall pylons.
(also known as transmission towers )
There are 3 different uploads of mesh LOD (level of detail) so you can choose one that suits your needs and save land impact where possible.

Also in the kit are quad cables at 64 metres and 128 metres length and a single cable at 64 metres if you need to assemble some custom arrangement

** Cable Install Instructions **

Place the pylons where you want them
30m pylons are suggested for up to 64m long cables
50m pylons are suggested for 80m to 128m long cables

Rez a suitable cable on the ground
Click the cable and choose Activate from the menu
Click an insulator on the pylon where you want that cable
It will chat to you, confirming the click
Click the insulator for the other end of that cable
The cable will position, rotate and re-size itself to fit those insulators
Repeat for the other insulators
(menu is only available to the owner of the cable)

Notes :
If installed on a steep hill, you may need to adjust the cable manually
You can stretch everything to re-size, just be aware the land impact will change
The parts are all set phantom, as they have no significant physics shape

Land Impact :
30m tower, lower LOD = 13LI
30m tower, medium LOD = 33LI
30m tower, higher LOD = 46LI
50m tower, lower LOD = 33LI
50m tower, medium LOD = 57LI
50m tower, higher LOD = 68LI
64m long single cable = 2LI
64m long quad cable = 7LI
128m long quad cable = 10LI

As an example, two 30m towers at lower LOD, plus six cables of the 64m quad style would total :
13 + 13 + (6 x 7) = 68LI
