Infogiver Version 2.0

LANDMARK GIVER. GROUP JOINER. GIFT GIVER. DONATION BOX. All this is in the infogiver!

NEW!!!: Due to a customer request I have added some features to the Infogiver: Now you can limit the number of gifts to each customer to 1. You do that by changing the Object Description field to 'ONE'. All other values will give an unlimited number of gifts to each customer! Furthermore there is added a button to the owner menu to get a list of gift receivers.

The infogiver is very easy to use:

Rez the infogiver or make your own. You can use any object. Just make sure the objects group is set to the group to the one you want your customers to join. You do that be editing the object and go to General tab. You don't have to name the object. The script will change that anyway.

Then go to Content tab and if you use my sign delete the content (examples for my shop) so you have an empty object.

Drag the script 'Infogiver script by Hardy Ruben' to the content of the object.
Drop your landmark here too. Name doesn't matter.
Also drop a notecard describing your group and whatever you want to tell your customers. Name it as you like.
If you want to give an object as gift drag that to the content as well. You can call it what you want but it MUST be an object. If it is not put your gift in a box and use that box.

After you have dropped the last item into the Content tab click 'Allow access' in the dialog box you get and your infogiver is ready!

If you click the infogiver as owner you get information about how much money is donated and how many gifts you have given, Also you get a 'RESET!!!' button on your menu. Only the owner sees this button.

If you click 'RESET!!!' the donation and gift counters are set to 0. This also happens if you change the content of the infogiver.

Description of the other buttons all users see (see the picture above):

'DONE' Use this to close the infogiver. If you use 'Ignore' in stead the infogiver will close automatically after 5 minutes to save lag.

'Landmark' A copy of the landmark in the content is offered to the customer. If no landmark is stored the customer is informed about that.

'Get gift' This button is only shown if an object is stored in the Content of the infogiver. The customer is offered a copy of the object.

'Group info' The content of the notecard in the Content tab is send as IM to the customer. If no notecard is stored the customer is informed about that.

'Join group' The customer is informed that he has a link to the group that is in the infogivers General tab and that he can click that to join the group.

'Donation' The customer is informed to right-click the infogiver and select 'Pay' to donate. The dialog box suggests payments of 10, 50, 100 and 200 L$ but of course any amount can be given.

The infogiver has copy- and modify permissions except for the script that is copy only.
