This script lets you easily make equilateral polygons that have between three and fourteen sides.
Drop the script into a prim, resize it to the right side length and thickness, then link prims to it until you see the number of sides you want. Click on that side, and voilà!
Prim count is one for three sides, then one more for every two more sides.

this is a FANTASTIC tool -- having had on more than one occasion tried to manage to make polygonal bits by hand for my projects, and been frustrated and spent LOADS of time trying to make even a basic hexagon... just... WOW. I managed a BETTER hexagon than 2 hrs of work, in less than 2 min. Very powerful, very simple, very inexpensive. How could anyone ask for more?
