This retro cash register is actually a tipjar.
See item in Second LifeExcellent Value!
I would have bought it just for decor but it is nice to have it as a tipjar too. Looks great in my Fae Inn tavern.
Ugh!
Big problem is I keep getting a script error warning saying no sound can be found :( I will IM about that. Also, it is a bit primmy, and sadly, unless you know how to tweak scripts, your registers will chat in local the name of the person tipping and how much they tipped. You also have to deal with the "amount" of tips hover text hovering over the register. It would have been nice to have received instructions on how to tweak (edit) the script inside to be more personal and user-friendly. Don't forget, if you buy this item, you also have to change the name under the general tab, or when someone touches it, it will read: ~JA~ Tipjar Cash Register", along with a message in local saying "I'm a tipjar, right click and select PAY to feed me :) " If you don't know how to tweak scripts, you can't change that either.
Looks awesome
Does what it's suppose to do. I used it in my Pet Shop I ran at an RP sim!
Perfect! Exactly as shown and described!
Another amazing product in SL, and at a great price!
Perfect!
Admittedly I bought it as a prop for my RP store, but I think it is great...low-prim, and it looks good, as well as it is modifiable so the script can be disabled/enabled or removed entirely.
I added a prim to block the 'tipjar' words and linked it to the register, and it remained at 5 prims instead of going up to 6. Ah, the glory of mesh!
I highly recommend this. It's awesome.
