JOMO Quadruped Dragon V1

let me just say this dragon is worth the L it is overall well made. But depending on what you want it for.
Just messing around? If you want a dragon to use in a club or with mates and just mess about. Nothing wrong with it. It's good to have. its low lag makes it good for places like that.

But here is a little detail.
-Walk, run and flying animations are a bit off and could have been done far better ( for eastern dragons having a float option is always good.
-Modding is limited. [ Despite what the other people seem to think.] customization is important. These dragons will mostly look identical I am sure as time goes by mods will come out but like all JOMO it is very limited.
-RP sims: If you are looking to roleplay with it on a fantasy sim there are better choices. I monster Eastern dragon or super noodle are far better for that. This dragon can not work well with weapons and again the limited customization can be an issue if you are in a den with more then 1 of these dragons as well as other issues but i am limited in my review. The low lag helps sure but for a RP sim you have better options that are around the same price.

The colours and the like are fine and detail is good it is a very nice looking dragon and well made i don't regret having it and I will enjoy using it from time to time. but as an everyday dragon no. it is a very respectable 4 stars.

Side note you should never call another review " idiotic " just on the grounds it does not agree with you.
Side note 2 - People who say they have tried every other of anything normally don't know what they are talking about. Like all things it comes down to what you want it for. It is not the best dragon but its not the worst , nothing wrong with having it.

I will start with saying that I'm not a fan of JOMO avatars in general. I like playing with mods, so I find expensive, no mod avatars generally a bad investment, as I get bored wit them very quickly. I bought this one because I love oriental dragons, and they are few and far between in SL.

I'm pleased to say, I'm very impressed. The animations are smooth, and a lot of care and attention was put into detailed facial anims, which makes the dragon very expressive. The flight anims work seamlessly underwater as well, which is a major sticking point for me. The adult features are very much welcome, they make RP easy and independent of location.

One issue I find frustrating, is that the male pee/cum attachment isn't rigged to the penis, so unless you are fully hard, you are pissing/leaking from thin air. A big oversight in my opinion.

Also, alignment with another dragon is a bit dodgy, it's not quite possible to get close enough for the adult anims to be 'convincing'.

I would also suggest that the roars come with animations. It's a bit weird that an almighty roar just appears while your dragon is standing serenely.

All in all, very good work. Great avatar with some minor, albeit frustrating issues. The whole creature is very much alive. Just regal, really. I do hope there will be some updates and fixes.

At the moment, you will not find anything better among such eastern dragons. Smooth animations, a nice model, the ability to create a unique physique. Even genitals are in the kit. I would note that there is a lack of interaction animations, such as games, sniffing and other RPs, but I hope that in the future this will appear.

This dragon is a really nice first for jomo.

Pros:
Smooth animations, the tongue, eyes, ears, nose and whiskers are all bento rigged and animated.
Very nice looking model, and really nice textures.

Comes with built in bits, "Female" "Male" "PG" and two animations to go with said bits, including humping and being humped.
Textures to make your own skin
A in world demo of the dragon (witch most avatars lack)

Cons:
Attachment points do not work as far as i know of for the head, it has no way to attach none rigged items like hair or horns.
No blend file for blender!

Suggestions: Maybe make animations to go with the roar/sounds?

Questions: The fingers are rigged and can work with finger animations but, the dragon it's self does not use them, will the dragon get updated to have front finger movement in the normal AO?
Will we get a Blend file for blender? the dev kit only has "Mayastar.mb" "Mayastar.mb" "fbx" "mb" "ma" and "dae" witch a dae can be opened in blender but it's model is super tiny. (i have a friend who wants to make stuff for it but they only use avatar for blender)

All in all this is a really nice dragon, if you want to demo it, that can be found in world in JOMO's store.

I've always been pretty fascinated by the quality of Jomo avatars, and this one takes the cake. Animations are good right out of the box, I love the run! I'm also VERY happy to see there was a demo in world upon arriving to the store, as that's something a lot of other avatar creators were lacking. I'd usually have to rely on poking people with the avatar to try to see them and I'm antisocial as all get-up. Videos don't really compare to seeing it up close and personal for yourself either.

Normals and specs are just... wow. The scales literally look like they're modeled on. The rigging is also beautiful, it's so smooth. All bones are utilized fairly well! My only gripe about the rigging is there doesn't seem to be anywhere to attach things to the head without them moving, I've been testing but can't seem to locate one. Not a deal breaker at all, I just have a habit of putting glasses on everything and having the option to switch out the horns would be awesome.

Seems like the fingers are rigged, though the avatar itself doesn't seem to animate them. Curious if this is going to be updated or if that was just the intent. I have a hand poser so it's no big deal at all and for those who are looking for one there are freebies on MP that work pretty well!

The last point I have is the dev kit. I was very much hoping there would be a Blender variant to rig to, at first glance I was hopeful seeing a DAE. The DAE on import is very tiny and sadly, not able to be used in its current state. I don't have the money for Maya and I'm not savvy enough to be able to fix it in Blender. If anyone is aware of a way, it would be very much appreciated!

Aside from the mentioned points, this avatar is easily worth more than 5 stars. It works good out of the box, it's not in dire need of any updates, the materials are beautiful, animations are fluid and not clunky. This easily takes the cake as my most favorite Eastern Dragon. (I will update my review later if necessary too)

Dragon looks great and animates very well. My only gripe is the hud doesn't allow me to edit the sheath. Hopefully this will be addressed in a update. For those who are interested it does come with a working dong like the other Jomo avatars! For the price this is easily the best of its kind on the market!
