Let me introduce you to the JP Headquarters, a full-blown Office Building made from 100% Mesh. Take your time to click trough the pictures and to read trough the text - it's worth it!

With this building, you will not only get a ground floor with several rooms and a nice lobby, but also a garage as well as a tower that is completely accessible.

Probably the coolest thing is that the tower is modular, which means you can choose how many floors you want to use, from one to a hundret, the only limit is the number of free prims. Each floor adds 4.3m to the height and 41 to the Land Impact.

A staircase connects all the floors, including the roof. Two elevator shafts will allow you to add your favorite elevator system and make it easy to reach the upper floors.

Important: notice that there are no doors or elevators included - it is up to you to add those! Well, that's not exactly the whole truth. There are entry doors, as shown on the pictures, and they do work. There are also doors for the inside included, but those are not scripted (!), so they do not work. They are for demonstrational purpose and should be replaced with actual doors. However, you could also add a script to them. If you are lazy and don't want to search for these things, I suggest you look up "GenTek" on Marketplace - they have doors, garage doors and elevators, all of which will work perfectly with this building; I highly recommend them.

The building has a footprint of 30.54m * 46.20m. The height depends on the number of floors you use.

The Land Impact also depends on the number of floors. The simplest setup (1 tower floor, hence 3 floors in total) will give you a Land Impact of 209, each additional tower floor will add 41 to that. The setup on the picture (11 floors in total) total at a LI of 537.

As said before, the ground floor is equipped with a number of rooms. Have a look at the floor plan picture to get a better idea, or just read this list of rooms:
» Voice Booth
» Studio
» Small Office
» Meeting room / big Office
» Restroom
» Tech room

Voice Booth and Studio are two rooms that could be used as such, but could be used as anything, really. What makes them special is that they are connected with a window.

All the upper floors are equipped with what I call a "bare room", which is a single room that could be used in several ways.

The garage can hold up to 8 cars and has two door openings that connect it to the main part of the building, as well as a garage door opening for the cars to get in and out.

The interior of the building can be easily retextured. Floor, walls, ceiling and columns all are re-texture friendly, so you can change those easily - or simply tint them. The original textures are all included full perm.

Retexturing the exterior would be tricky, so I suggest you don't do that. What you could try, however, is to simply tint it a bit - if you feel like it, that is.

To further customize the building, I suggest you add some nice flowers to the flower boxes found on the outside.

Thanks to the modify permissions, you could also resize the building, but I don't really see why you would want to do that. The current size (height per floor: 4m) is authentic and nice. But yeah, you could change it without a problem. Just remember that mesh objects will change their LI when resized.

Entrance door scripts are also included full perm - so you can edit them to your liking.

Alright, I guess that wraps it up. At least I hope so. Any questions? IM me anytime!

Good build, no frills.

Good, efficient mesh with no physics issues, Easy to recolor and even retexture some bits to your liking.
Doors are just phantom and will need scripting. Elevator shaft you either block or use a 3rd party one. Several of the textures are default SL ones of somewhat low quality, specifically the carpet. Not much small detailing anywhere.

Overall, it's a good canvas to start with and requires you decorate it.

Great looking Building but internally it has a couple of issues as far as I'm concerned. Like no lighting system. The internal "support" pillars and numerous and annoying, and can not be deleted as they form part of a bigger mesh. No elevators, and the internal lift shaft face is transparent. Doors are noted by their absence.
I really hope the builder might take time to upgrade this otherwise neat looking building.

Great Build and Even Better Customer Service!

This building is perfect for RP. It's modular capability (letting you choose from 3 to 15 floors) and easy-to-texture insides made this building a breeze to set up. When I needed to move the building, I asked the creator if he would mod the garage section for me. He did so and sent me that section without asking me to even pay him for the work. (Though I sent him a 'thank you' anyway :) ) His customer service is outstanding. I would highly recommend this build to anyone.
